Yoga Therapy is a customized wellness plan focusing on you as a whole person, providing individualized support in a one-on-one setting. It will help you to work the edges of your life and become more aware of who you are and what motivates you. The more you know yourself, both on and off the mat, the better opportunity you have to move beyond your limits and achieve your goals.
Everyone is creative, resourceful and whole, and these sessions will help to shine a light on those qualities and more! They will provide you with an opportunity to work through your limitations, learn to watch things and be less reactive, and look for the good in you and enhance it.
You will learn to work with your body wisely and access your own innate healing powers, bringing happiness and health into a harmonious balance!
What will your Yoga Therapy plan include?
Yoga, Breath & Relaxation Meditation
Each Yoga Therapy session will consist of one-on-one consultation, focusing on your particular needs which will begin the process of developing a plan that is perfectly suited for you.
Together, we'll develop a customized yoga practice designed around your challenges and strengths, along with a blend of passive yoga stretches that will help you get the most of your yoga practice, and mindful breathing techniques, guided imagery and meditative practices to help you relax, reduce stress and bring your energy into balance.
Nutritional Guidance
Nutritional guidance is also an important part of your plan. Nutritional deficiencies rob the body of its natural resources and can manifest as fatigue, mood swings, weight gain, high blood pressure, and insomnia, just to name a few. You will learn ways to eat healthier and smarter, and discover what foods work best for you. As you develop conscious eating habits, you’ll slow down enough to get in touch with your true desires and transform your relationship to food.
